3. Supplemental Materials
In addition to the online application form, please download and complete the following:
- The PWHS Supplemental Application Packet (includes questionnaires for student and parent, a 500 word essay for student, teacher recommendation forms for two teachers to complete, and a student records release form)
- Any reports or documentation regarding assessments, evaluations, or accommodations (please note that failure to provide this information in a complete and timely way may result in considerable delay or denial of admission)
4. Next Steps
After you have submitted the online application, application fee, complete supplemental application materials, and any assessment/evaluation/accommodation documents, your application is complete and you can look forward to these next steps…
After we have received a complete application, the Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule an interview. Most admission interviews will happen in a group setting, where students will spend some social time together, parents will have opportunities to meet and ask questions of teachers, and students will complete math and writing placement evaluations. Group interviews typically take 1-3 hours.
If the student has had learning accommodations in the past or may need them to be successful in their future at PWS, an additional individual conversation will be scheduled where the student and parents will meet with the Student Assistance Coordinator in order to ensure that the student’s needs can be met.
Following the interview, the admissions office will notify your family of the admissions decision.
If the student is accepted, our Business Office will contact you to complete the enrollment process through TADS (our online tuition & contract management service). At this point, you will also be notified of any tuition adjustment awards, if applicable.
