Each year, we are pleased to announce the presentation of senior projects. Based on their interests, each senior undertakes an independent research project that culminates in an essay, an activity (usually related), and an oral report. Seniors strengthen skills that last a lifetime—including the ability to think for themselves and work on their own. Examples from the Class of 2017 include everything from documentary filmmaking to building an ultralight engine and making alternative fuel.

This year’s Senior Project Presentations will be held Saturday, March 18 from 9:30am-2:30pm in the PWHS Music Room.

Research essays from the Class of 2017 will be available to read online soon! For a complete collection of senior research essays from years past, visit portlandwaldorfhs.wordpress.com/senior-independent-research-essays/.
