Community Offerings for PWS Families

We offer a variety of community gatherings and classes throughout the year for our enrolled families. If you are a current family at PWS, you can see event details and meeting times in the calendar on PWSConnect.

Community Tea

Gather with fellow parents and caregivers once/month for tea and treats after drop off. Some teas will feature a theme, activity, or topic for discussion.

Knitting Circle

Held once/week in the Spring Creek Store. Come for knitting and good conversation. Bring a project of your own or learn from seasoned teachers.

Seasonal Craft Circle

Held once/month in the Spring Creek Store. Come to make a seasonal craft to take home and share with your family. Materials and instruction provided.

Singing Circle

Our adult singing circle is led by a PWS parent and meets twice/week throughout the school year. For new and experienced singers alike.

Adult Blacksmithing

Come learn this traditional art form from long-time PWS Practical Arts teacher, Mr. Myers. Sessions run for 6 weeks at various times throughout the year.

Community Eurythmy

Come discover eurythmy again or for the first time! This inherently social art is nourishing and invigorating to our bodies, minds, and overall well-being. The joy of experiencing eurythmy is an opportunity for dynamic participation in community, and a way to experience a piece of life as a PWS student. Led by a PWS Eurythmy teacher once/week.

Community Study

This group of parents and caregivers meets weekly to study topics of Waldorf education and anthroposophy.
